What is Wum.bo?
Wum.bo is a platform built on top of Solana that brings Creator Coins directly to the networks where creators interact with their fans. We aren’t reinventing the social network; we’re enhancing it by giving fans and creators a new way to interact within their favorite settings. Our Creator Coins give each creator their own personal, customizable cryptocurrency.

Everyone should be able to participate in Wum.bo, not just crypto power users. That’s why Wum.bo is integrated with Torus Labs Wallet and Bonfida naming service to simplify the onboarding process. FTX Pay will allow users to get WUM coins through a simple interface connecting to their bank and credit cards. Wum.bo also supports a variety of other Solana wallets including Sollet, Phantom, Solong, Ledger, and MathWallet

While we plan to add Reddit and other portals, our target for the #solanaszn Hackathon is to build Wum.bo for Twitter. Wum.bo plugs in conveniently as a Chrome Extension. Tweets and users are overlaid with their coin price and a trading interface. Wum.bo also comes with a wallet to view your Creator Tokens.
WUM is the base currency of Wum.bo, and will be tradable on the Serum dex. Creator Coins will be issued by Wum.bo on a bonding curve through an Automated Market Maker (AMM). Creator Coins are themselves Solana tokens, and can be used elsewhere in the Solana ecosystem. Wum.bo also allows for a configurable founder rewards percentage on creator coins.
Opt Out 🙅
Users are able to initialize Creator Coins for social media accounts that have not yet joined the platform. This leaves the coin in an unclaimed state. Creator coins are great, but not everyone will want one. As such, we will allow users to opt out through the same simple onboarding process to claim a token.
Users are able to buy and sell unclaimed tokens. Once a creator opts out, the AMM will continue to support the selling of tokens but will no longer allow the purchase and minting of new tokens. The extension will indicate the creator has opted out, and will not show the coin price.
Token holders will retain their tokens, and users of the platform will be able to see how many tokens themselves and others own.
